Get to know HD voice

Picture this: You’re in a crowded café when you get a phone call that you absolutely have to take. You have two options: Make your way out of the café where it’s a little quieter, or take the call at your table and attempt a conversation despite distracting background noise.

With HD Voice from Sprint, the days of struggling to hear, yelling over the people next to you and forcing your way in to conversations are over. HD Voice isolates background noise so you can hear the person on the other end better than ever. *

This feat is accomplished in two ways. First, HD Voice expands the octave range of your voice when you call another HD Voice-capable handset. This creates a fuller, more natural-sounding voice for you and the other person on the call.

Secondly, HD Voice works in concert with your phone’s noise-cancelling technology to identify and isolate your voice from ambient noise. As a result, it’s easier to take and understand calls no matter where you are in Sprint’s nationwide coverage area – in a car, walking on a windy day, on a noisy street or, yes, even that crowded coffee shop.

HD Voice is available in many of Sprint’s major markets, and a national rollout is planned for this summer. HD Voice-enabled phones include iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S 5, HTC One (M8), LG G2, Google Nexus 5, Moto X and many more of our most popular handsets. See a complete list of devices.
